As a company, we have carried out various researches and took measures regarding the extraordinary situation experienced due to the Covid-19 outbreak all over the world.

 

With these measures, we aim to protect the health of our employees and the public, on the other hand, we strive to ensure the uninterrupted continuation of our services in the sealing element market.

 

The following measures have been taken and applications have been initiated in our company since the pandemic was declared.

 

All travel plans of our employees have been reviewed and restrictions have been introduced, except for those that are mandatory, it has been ensured that international travels are canceled unless required, and the preference of travelling by the road rather than the airline has been ensured by complying with the precautions and rules regarding travel in domestic duties. Employees were also advised to postpone their private travels as much as possible. (Our company vehicles are disinfected after each use.)

 

The situation was evaluated within the scope of the notifications and publications of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health and Scientific Committee and the information published by the World Health Organization. In parallel with the notifications made and the statements of the official authorities, it was ensured that the necessary measures were taken by coordinating the activities related to the execution of our ongoing business without causing panic.

 

BRIEFING WITHIN THE COMPANY

 

Virus protection recommendations cover topics such as how to use masks and disinfectants, how to follow up-to-date information, and what to do on returning from travel. As the scientific information on the subject was updated, new information was shared with the employees via presentations.

 

The employees who applied to the health unit were informed, guided and followed up in line with their needs.

 

In this process; In the Basic OHS training (our OHS officers provided interactive information on Standard infection control measures, contamination-based precautions, Covid-19 symptoms and spread, personal hygiene, hand hygiene, PPE use).

 

 

 

During the daily examinations performed in the health unit, employees with symptoms such as fever and cough were informed about the methods they should follow and they were given sick leave.

 

MEASURES AT THE COMPANY

 

Continuous contact has been maintained with the supplier companies for the continuation of the supply of masks and hand disinfectants. Masks were provided by the number of employees, and agreements were concluded to resume purchasing these products.

 

By increasing the hygiene measures in the dining hall, food provision system has been introduced, areas such as salad buffet, spice table, etc. in common use have been removed. As a second step measure, table-chair spaces have been separated with specially made separators to increase social distance. Disinfectants were placed at the entrance of the dining hall and at each dining table.

Public areas and frequently touched points (door handles, light switches, faucets, etc.) are cleaned at short intervals. In addition, the bus company was ensured to disinfect all vehicles every day.

 

The operating times and flow rate of the ventilation system have been increased. Natural ventilation is provided by opening windows frequently during the day.

 

Detailed cleaning and disinfection processes have been carried out in our facilities (in accordance with the cleaning and disinfection plan prepared) (and these processes) are carried out in certain routines.

 

In order to make handwashing with soap widespread, which is more effective and harmless, warning posters were hung, antibacterial wipes and hand disinfectants were placed in areas such as dining hall entrance, meeting rooms and corridors within a certain plan.

 

Information posters were hung at prominent points (boards, dining hall, toilets) within the company. Handshaking and avoiding crowded environments warnings are constantly reminded.

 

It was suggested that the meetings to be held via video conferences as much as possible.

 

Communication plans inside and outside the facility have been created, and it is aimed to inform our visitors, suppliers and employees by hanging them at the points to be seen in our facility.

 

Detailed records are kept by checking the HES code and fever at the entrances. Employees with fever higher than the specified level are directed to go to a health institution without waiting, and communication is maintained and controlled. (There is an isolation room where Covid-19 cases and suspects will be kept until the teams from the healthcare facility arrive. We have personnel trained to deal with emergencies in our facility.)
