SeaLab-150

Our newly developed hydraulic rod seal test rig of latest technology records the performance related data of the seals with the help of  high-frequency sensors and data collection devices.

Our test device has already been put into use in our R&D laboratory to produce high quality products and to develop solutions for the needs of manufacturer companies.

It is designed for a dynamic measure of various parameters that affect sealing performance. These parameters are oil film thickness, friction force, breakout friction, distance (total cycles), pressure and temperature. It enables us to make a precise evaluation of hydraulic seals by providing accurate and reliable measurements of significant parameters.

Rod seals are exposed to high pressure, temperature and friction forces that can cause them to be worn and torn in the systems they are in. Since this wear can vary depending on operating conditions, our test rig is designed to adapt to many simulation of those conditions. The test is started by predetermining the conditions and all kinds of profiles can be tested.

We should put into consideration that the sealing performance is directly related to the rod seal and operating conditions, as well as the effect of other components in the cylinder. Due to the importance of this matter, our test rig has been developed to be compatible with various rod designs. For example, a rod design made in combination with a buffer ring , wiper seal and guiding element can be adapted to our test cylinder and the results can be recorded. With its versatility and high-level data reading and recording capability, the device has a much higher reporting capability than the traditional test methods.

The data obtained about design suitability allows the hydraulic cylinder manufacturers or users to have invaluable results and so let our customers feel high confidence.
